Magical Mosacis by Suzanne  -  Suzanee Borsuk

sjbtrixie@gmail.com

68 Huntleigh rd    Piedmont, ca  94611    510 658 8880

Product Description:  Mosaics have been an influential decorative pieces in architecture for nearly 4 thousand years, since the early Roman period. Mosaics filled cathedrals, museums and were found in excavation sites in Milan, Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Ravenna and Venice (Italy), Palermo and Monreale (Sicily), and the Hagia Sophia( Istanbul, Turkey). They were often used in the most distinguished residences and public spaces. I hand cut each piece of glass in traditional Roman fashion and place each on the table or vase to form a unique pattern. The amount of time and labor expended to create these works of art are phenomenal yet the outcome presents an appealing marriage of intricate colorful patterns and images reflected in the austerity and solidity of the stone. I has been making custom mosaics for over 5 years. I create beautiful handmade works of art that take weeks and weeks to complete. I mosaics everything from intricate vases to picture frames and 54" huge patio tables. I sells them locally in high end galleries and exquisite flower shops. We provide you with one of a kind artisitic customization depending on current influences of the artist. We also provide shipping if needed, excellent packing and rapid services with very competitive prices. These are one of a kind pieces that you will not find anywhere else.

Wolf&Bears Workshop  -  Andrew Taylor

www.wolfandbears.com    info@wolfandbearworkshop.com

236 Clara Street  Unit 3  San Francisco, CA  94107

Product Description:  Wolf&Bears began in London in 2008 when Andrew Taylor began making bears and soft goods from Men's suiting wools. The aim has always been to make handmade, heirloom-quality products from the highest quality sustainable materials. Rather than taking recycled materials that are already worn or recycled fiber-stuffing, why not use the good materials that will last and can be passed to another generation...? Wolf&Bears are not frilly. They're simple, but cute. We make them to last, and each one is hand-stitched and stuffed, patterned after ones that have been in the family for generations. Each bear is unique and is given it's own serial number, with which our customers can submit and track on the WB website. Wolf&Bears are made with 100% wool felt, bamboo fiber stuffing (which is naturally antibacterial), vintage buttons and silk thread. All handmade and meant to wear in, the first bear was Christmas gift some years ago and is now the softest and most awesome bear ever.

Mission Statement:  Wolf&Bear Workshop is a project in San Francisco that focuses on making heirloom-quality teddy bears and other objects using the best quality, but sustainable materials (100% wool felt, bamboo fiber filling, silk thread). While we are currently focused on simple-design bears and home products, the scope is expanding to more collaborative ambitions - artist-designed limited edition projects (artists who typically do NOT work in felt), and offering a place for curated, hard-to-find goods like vintage drawings and other objects that might be a source of inspiration for the artists with whom we collaborate. The project is open-ended, but with an initial focus on the best-quality bears and materials. Above all, we don't want to compromise on the quality of materials or the standards of production. We also contribute a percentage of proceeds to youth-focused non-profits, like Bay Area Women's and Children's Center or San Francisco Children's Art Center.
